What a great pen! I started using it and within minutes after filling it, I was glowing with delight. After a few hours of doodling and writing in cursive, I really seemed to master it. And the size: it fit my hand well and I have big hands and arthritis. I have no complaints and I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or above. Great quality for the $.

What I always look for in a fountain pen is the "bang for your buck" aspect. As an English teacher, I use them all the time and give several away to students who have gone above and beyond for me (I often have students for two or three years.). I don't buy high-end pens, rather I'm interested in reliability and functionality.

This pen had a nice weight to it, not too heavy but not flimsy either. It felt good in my hand and I really enjoyed putting pen to paper as the pen seemed to glide over the paper. My choice of pen, matte black with silver trim, looks classy to me and the options available to others really allow one to individualize your choice possibilities.

The flexi nib pen is great for drawing and urban sketching. The nib is wet and ink flows easily. The pen is nicely balanced and is pleasant to hold. After I tried this one I bought another one in a different color.
